BioLamina and Cytochroma partner to accelerate reliable New Approach Methodologies aligned with FDA Moderniziation Act 2.0

BioLamina, a leading provider of biologically relevant matrix proteins for stem cell culture, today announced a strategic collaboration with Cytochroma, a specialist in iPSC-derived cells for drug discovery and disease modelling. 

Cytochroma will incorporate BioLamina’s full-length, human recombinant laminin 521, into a new offering designed to support the generation, recovery, and expansion of iPSC-derived cells, including hepatocytes and cardiomyocytes. 

Cytochroma has used Biolaminin® since 2017, making the company one of BioLamina’s longest-standing partners. This new collaboration reflects a shared scientific commitment that precise control of the cellular microenvironment is a foundation for reproducible, scalable, and high-quality pluripotent stem cell workflows.
