Coating cell cultureware
This instruction provides a validated, reproducible protocol for coating cultureware with Biolaminin human recombinant laminin — ensuring a defined, animal-origin-free extracellular matrix suitable for stem cells and other cell types.
What’s inside
- Instructions for thawing, diluting and coating Biolaminin onto plates, flasks or glassware (use 1× DPBS, ensure full coverage).
- Recommended starting concentrations (e.g. 5–10 µg/mL for LN-type, 15–20 µg/mL for MX/CTG matrices), with guidance to optimize per cell line.
- Coating conditions: overnight at +2°C to +8°C or shorter at +37°C; coated plates remain stable for up to 4 weeks if stored aseptically.
- Important handling notes on storage (avoid repeated freeze–thaw, store stock frozen, use aliquots), and avoid drying out coated surfaces as this inactivates the laminin coating.
